Charlottesville/Albemarle Housing Expo
The Charlottesville/Albemarle Housing Expo is a collaborative effort between the City and County to connect community members with housing resources, programs, and services. The CAAR Foundation will be one of the organizations participating in the Expo.
CAAR Foundation Lunch & Learn: Housing Albemarle
Housing Albemarle, adopted by the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors in July 2021, provides the tools necessary to meet the diverse housing needs of all County residents regardless of income, age, or other special needs. Stacy Pethia, Assistant Director of Housing for Albemarle County, will provide information about housing needs in the county, as well as an update on progress towards meeting the County’s housing goals.
Lunch & Learn is free to attend, and includes lunch and a drink.

Regional Housing Summit
Join us in March of 2025 in Charlottesville for a pivotal event focused on addressing the critical issues of housing affordability. Hosted by the Central Virginia Regional Housing Partnership and sponsored by the CAAR Foundation and others, this summit will bring together a diverse group of stakeholders, including elected officials, local government staff, for-profit developers, realtors, rental management companies, non-profit housing developers, and homelessness service providers.
